A mound-forming, semi-evergreen to evergreen perennial bearing rosettes of rounded to heart-shaped, lobed, deep green/bronze leaves and, in late spring to midsummer, erect stems bearing terminal racemes of tiny, bell shaped fringed, green flowers tinged pink. Thrives in moist shade and are seen at their very best in light, dappled shade in a wild or woodland style garden, or in a shady border grown among hostas or hardy ferns.
